It's just a CURTAIN RAISER

BAPU showed us what "WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA" can do if we get united for the cause of INDEPENDENCE...

62 years passed since we got INDEPENDENCE and in these years we have unitedly divided our motherland into many pieces based on languages, and yet are demanding further division of states. For what??? INDIA which had initially 1 state has now been divided into 28 states and current situations indicate the numbers to increase.

All these events only show how divided India is at a crucial juncture when it must be a united nation.
We did well when ECONOMIC crisis hit all over the world, we managed to put a stop to the quantity of loss of life when terror hit last year.

But how are we going to stop the virus within our countrymen??

With the death of YSR came a wave of tsunami in Andhra for a serious bid to make TELANGANA as a separate state with KCR going on fast unto death.
This particular issue was started by the CONGRESS govt itself when KCR resigned from TDP and formed Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) while N.C.Naidu was the chief minister of AP.

Why am i writing this?? everyone knows about this thing..
Moreover, we also know that now as the Government has agreed to initiate the process of carving out TELANGANA as a state. But what many of us might be unaware is about the storm that will soon hit which would CUT our nation into further parts. Many other states (UP, maharastra etc) have demanded of different states. I was shocked when i saw the list..

UP into 3 more states..
VIDARBH from MAHARASHTRA
SAURASHTRA from GUJARAT
3 more states from ASSAM.. 2 from BIHAR and more from WEST BENGAL and even ORISSA....

Is this what we need at a point of time when we are facing threats with CHINA & PAKISTAN joining hands against us??? Does these POLITICIANS consider the consequences of their demands?? Do they have any relevant answer to our questions?? Does anyone who sits in the PARLIAMENT cares about what is happening to the COMMON MAN??

RIOTS are very common in INDIA.. Thanks to the secularism that prevails.. The TELANGANA issue has already ignited riots in AP among those who have been neighbors since many years and now are fighting unnecessarily because of an agitation which is just a disgrace to our Nation... Not only the poor but the students, Industrialists, and even the economy is going to be affected due to this issue..

The losses are huge and the efforts to curb the loss should start as soon as possible..

At the end of the day we see ourselves drowning in the sea of sorrow GIFTED to us by all those BEASTS who BEG votes before elections and eat up the country's money afterwards, regardless of the suffering of the public who trusted and handed them with the responsibility of our MOTHERLAND..

If we don't stop the occurrence of such events in future then believe me IT'S JUST A CURTAIN RAISER....

roller coaster ride

Finally, i got time to write (believe me i'm not lying).
Since last 1 month i have been switching gears for different races, and different races means different cars..

Had to brush up my tech fundamentals.. and meanwhile semester exams approach with CAT approaching faster...
Wat do u do in these situations???
Keep your cool right??? 'Better said than done' ;)

Life is full of uncertainties.. as everyone says life tests u at every moment..
"give ur best shot"(that was my friend's msg to boost my confidence..)

Well i gave my best shot to both the interviews and now am waiting to eat my piece of cake...

However, I had one more race... the race in which nearly 2.4 lac Indians(mostly ENGINEERS ) have been participating since Nov 28th.
So i had to forget the piece of cake (for the time being).
And now as my encounter with "CAT & MOUSE" is over, i feel a lot more relaxed than ever before.. IIMA wait for my arrival..(just kidding i am not a 99.xx percentiler)

In the midst of all these tensions every now and then i had been thinking what to write next???
about English again?? or about myself?? or about India handing over the ODI series to the Ozs (they needed it badly).

So here is yet another Blog in which i dunno what i have written, but now i enjoy blogging...

Gotta go.. another Race would start soon (semester exams)..

Ending this blog with a hope that I will be somewhere on the way to my Goals and as we know the journey will be a Roller Coaster Ride

The Journey Begins

I always think a lot about writing something and in that process end up writing nothing. But today instead of thinking i just visited www.blogger.com and created this blog. I don't make a good writer like other bloggers especially who become writers..(i don't want to become chetan bhagat). I have come across different blogs by different people and would wonder how could they write so much on a single topic. I have always been avoiding debates, extempores and anything which required me to speak continuously (in English) as i consider myself very weak in those areas. As a result i have developed a sense of fear for ENGLISH..

But with MBA exams and job interviews approaching near I thought its high time i improve my writing skill and what more can be as enthusiastic as writing a blog. Every now and then English instructors ask us to read more so as to improve our verbal ability. But is that really true?
Does reading a lot improve one's verbal ability? What if one only reads and doesn't comprehend?
Is there any short-cut to get command on English? I asked all these questions to myself, then i came to realize that its a long learning process. I found this when i compared my level of understanding a passage with that of my friend's, who is very much rich in English. The reason being that he loves to read (mainly classics) and did read his first novel while he was in primary school, at the same time i hardly read a newspaper daily (forget about novels). But recently i started reading novels (feeling ashamed of not knowing who J.K.Rowling is) not far behind you my friend!

Now i can say what one needs to do to improve one's understanding in English(not necessarily vocabulary). Its just like any other subject.(though more unpredictable when it comes to CAT). But another question arises that how far am i able to implement it? Will I? Can I be able to overcome my fear.....

I hope This Journey will help me a lot in this ENDEAVOR of mine...
THERE's MORE TO TRAVEL AS THIS JOURNEY HAS JUST BEGUN
