BAPU showed us what "WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA" can do if we get united for the cause of INDEPENDENCE...
62 years passed since we got INDEPENDENCE and in these years we have unitedly divided our motherland into many pieces based on languages, and yet are demanding further division of states. For what??? INDIA which had initially 1 state has now been divided into 28 states and current situations indicate the numbers to increase.
All these events only show how divided India is at a crucial juncture when it must be a united nation.
We did well when ECONOMIC crisis hit all over the world, we managed to put a stop to the quantity of loss of life when terror hit last year.
But how are we going to stop the virus within our countrymen??
With the death of YSR came a wave of tsunami in Andhra for a serious bid to make TELANGANA as a separate state with KCR going on fast unto death.
This particular issue was started by the CONGRESS govt itself when KCR resigned from TDP and formed Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) while N.C.Naidu was the chief minister of AP.
Why am i writing this?? everyone knows about this thing..
Moreover, we also know that now as the Government has agreed to initiate the process of carving out TELANGANA as a state. But what many of us might be unaware is about the storm that will soon hit which would CUT our nation into further parts. Many other states (UP, maharastra etc) have demanded of different states. I was shocked when i saw the list..

VIDARBH from MAHARASHTRA
SAURASHTRA from GUJARAT
3 more states from ASSAM.. 2 from BIHAR and more from WEST BENGAL and even ORISSA....
Is this what we need at a point of time when we are facing threats with CHINA & PAKISTAN joining hands against us??? Does these POLITICIANS consider the consequences of their demands?? Do they have any relevant answer to our questions?? Does anyone who sits in the PARLIAMENT cares about what is happening to the COMMON MAN??
RIOTS are very common in INDIA.. Thanks to the secularism that prevails.. The TELANGANA issue has already ignited riots in AP among those who have been neighbors since many years and now are fighting unnecessarily because of an agitation which is just a disgrace to our Nation... Not only the poor but the students, Industrialists, and even the economy is going to be affected due to this issue..
The losses are huge and the efforts to curb the loss should start as soon as possible..
At the end of the day we see ourselves drowning in the sea of sorrow GIFTED to us by all those BEASTS who BEG votes before elections and eat up the country's money afterwards, regardless of the suffering of the public who trusted and handed them with the responsibility of our MOTHERLAND..
If we don't stop the occurrence of such events in future then believe me IT'S JUST A CURTAIN RAISER....

ReplyDeleteA separate state can never be the panacea and some times it may lead to a few more institutional problems. If separate state formations bring development with them, why Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh are still in the top of India's abject poverty (Recent Suresh Tendulkar's commission reports Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, M.P, Chhattisgarh are most-suffering states)
ReplyDeleteIf backhandedness is the reason, ask for development, better governance, and corruption-free, literate society but don’t breed regional wars as it is barbarianism. If the biggest state in south India can’t rest in peace, how can India rests in peace?
In 2 elections of 2004 and 2009, political parties have played a bluff-game hurting the sentiments of people and one way, traditional political parties play bluff-game in entire India and actually, it has to be a quarrel between bad politics and people but our people, unable to understand fights among themselves in the name of region,religion,language,caste or whatever provoked by demagogues.
If a state named 'Telan'gana is formed, then also there will be no problem to common man as they are not asking for the separate nation and the land won't go to another nation and our focus should be on development of entire India and nation-making, not on forming separate states or keeping states intact.
History is what we inherit. The future is what we make of it. In case of Telangana, the short term objectives should be addressed and politicians should remember that history is an unbiased judge and after a few years, they will be blamed for their demagoguery. The problems should not be subsided. Strong agreement should be made and a perfect development plan should be sketched and backward regions in entire nation should be identified.
In long term, the ruling power should be kept in the hands of common man, who will face the consequences of his action. Transparency act should be enacted in the entire nation with instant justice. No one in this nation should be denied of dignity, justice or opportunities and for that leadership of strong ideas and execution should be enforced and this is only possible through principle politics with utmost values and this nation's youngsters can only make that happen.
Telangana issue is on board only because of denied dignity and in the coming years, many movements of this type may welcome us if conditions are kept untreated, so better act in a proper way providing ample opportunities, unbiased justice to all Indians and solution in a single sentence is-"Kill the hypocrisy and bring the real democracy".
I really feel youngsters with out look can make this happen.

ReplyDeleteI am sorry to deviate from you my dear but I agree with u on many terms but I feel its not a curtain raiser as it is not the first time in India.Many times it happened.In same Andhra pradesh, you are quoting Vijayawada caste riots happened in 1980's.Jai telangana in 1960.Communal riots on basis of caste , region,religion and every silly thing is not new in this nation as We have 100 such incidents from Khalistan to Ghodra and recent telangana.
You may feel that i m out a box but i wanted to quote these as nothing changed the common man life .After a time, everything will be same and we will be brothers.
But telangana is not a curtain raiser, I m sure but the thing is what can be the demarcation for new states? Development cant be an indicator but remember our constitution says we are federal but third tier of federalism is needed to be empowered.If I m not wrong, 73 and 74 amendments speak about this.
More over we are a nation and 85 percent agrees this, what about rest 15 percent and these are the real problem creators.Leaving the politics behind, we s/d carve a long-term solution and it should not be concluded with telangana or vidarbha or Koshala because these demands are on the basis of under-development thn solution will be development not divisons.

No nation or society is perfect. We have to make it a better place to live in .Belgium has only 2 languages, still they fight brutally for separate entities and India has 18 recognized languages and many more disparities. How can we expect the nation's survival with out problems? But problems should b solved through dialogue in Democracy.
